Doctors Specialists in Training and Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation in Clinical Nomad focuses on developing intervention strategies that reduce the duration of the injury and facilitate safe reintegration into training, competition and daily activities of the athlete or patient. We work as a team to ensure effective and successful physical-sports rehabilitation.

Phases of recovery from an injury

The importance of the final readaptation phase in the injury recovery process has often been underestimated. However, correct readaptation is essential to achieve a complete and safe recovery, preventing relapses. In this blog article, we explain more about the importance of injury rehabilitation and how at Nómada Clínica we can help you enjoy your favorite sporting activity again or permanently overcome an injury.

The recovery phases in an injury generally comprise three stages: the recovery phase, the readaptation phase and the retraining phase. At Nómada Clínica, we are here to accompany you throughout this process, helping you regain the functionality you had before the injury or safely return to competition in your favorite sport.

1st Recovery Phase

At Nómada Clínica, the process of recovery from an injury begins with the Recovery Phase. After a precise diagnosis, our medical team specialized in physical, rehabilitation and sports medicine performs a detailed initial evaluation. We establish a personalized treatment plan and refer the patient to the appropriate specialist within our multidisciplinary team. During the acute phase of the injury (24-72 hours), rest and basic treatment are recommended. We then focus on recovery with physiotherapists and osteopaths to restore strength, mobility and functionality to the affected area, while maintaining overall physical condition.

2nd Readaptation Phase

The Rehabilitation Phase in Clinical Nomad is crucial to prepare the person or athlete for a safe return after an injury. Our multidisciplinary team of physical therapists and physical trainers work together to accelerate recovery and prevent future injuries, taking advantage of our advanced technology. Led by the doctor, the focus is on regaining physical fitness and muscle strength, adapting to each individual and sport practiced. From medical discharge to full return, each phase is carefully planned, considering factors such as medical history and type of injury.
